LO4: solving copyright and ethical issues in my game

Our ethical problems could be sorted by the murders being less graphic and violent, as our game is age 12 above the scenes shown won't be realistic or legit, also it is a fantasy so blood would not be involved. Potions which would be used in our game could possibly be classed as drugs, but it is mainly to do something like heal you when you are injured so it isn't something to serious and graphic. Theft would not be used in a bad way in the game for example like GTA, it would simply be only on missions to higher the level, it could also maybe be classed as borrowing. Abuse would not be graphic as it is a fantasy, it would be done using magic and spells which isn't realistic. Prostitution would not be used in the game. Wars in our game would be classed as more of a battle, and would not be realistic as blood isn't involved.

Liable and Slander Considerations.

This law relates to defamation of character, where you use a person or organisations image in a way which could cause measurable damage to their reputation in the eyes of the common public. But our game doesn't involve any sexism, racisim or any known people or celebrities we could possibly offend.

LO4: legal and ethical issues in games.

These types of issues can be avoided, games can use their own brands and music. Create a second source of income and purchase album of music or genre. a company which has followed these rules would be Sensible soccer, they are similar to

LO4:Presentation script.

Me:
Platform- The platform we have chosen is a PC, we think Kremlin Komrade is more suitable to play on a computer as it is similar to games such as Black and White and sims which uses a PC platform.

Price- We think that the price range of the game should be £25 as it is affordable for people and we can still make a decent profit.

characters- We have agreed to create all our characters as mythical creatures, they would all have their own personal name and have the ability to slightly personalise them selves making each character more individual to each player.

Colour scheme- The colour scheme of Kremlin Komrade is various different shades of green, this links with the scenery as it is based in forest like areas, also the pause menu which would come up with achievements and other things to look at about the game would all be themed with  the same colour range.

Computer equipment and office- Each person helping to create the game would have £350 worth of computer equipment each. Also the office rental will come up to around fifty one thousand pounds.

LO2: Comparing Two Reviews on Different Mediums.

Disney Infinity.
Empire magazine review.

Genre.
The reviewer of the game 'Disney Infinity'
tries to get across that the genre of the game
is a adventure game.

Target Audience.
The target audience of the game is mainly aimed
at kids as it is Disney but the reviewer shows that
adults can love this game too.

Narrative and Characters.
The narrative of the game is not specific in this
review, but it does show that there is a lot of
battling with the characters. The characters
of the game are most Disney characters e.g Jack sparrow,
the characters out of Toy Story, Monsters inc,
Cinderella etc.

Game Play.
Since there isn't a specific narrative to the game, the game
play was basically explained in the narrative. The
game just involves battling against other characters for example
the enemies from the Dead Man's Chest in Pirates And The Caribbean and
visiting all the different mythical islands which Disney
have created. The Game also allows you to re create your
favorite scenes from Disney and re build your own world.

Platform.
The Review shows that the platforms this game is available
on is PC, PS3, 3DS,Xbox 360, Wii and Wii U.

Personal Recommendation.
From this review i personally believe that this sounds like a
very enjoyable game for most people. The only bad thing i have to say
about it is the lack of sense it makes, there isn't really a
strong enough narrative. I would preferably like to play
this game on a Wii U because of the amount of control
you can get from the console.

                                                                       Genre.
The video review shows that the genre of the game
                                                        is a strong adventure game.

                                                                Target audience.
The target audience of the game is Kids, but in
this video it also shows the complications of the
game, such as building land, which would seem
quite difficult for a kid to grasp.

                                                         Narrative and Characters.
The video shows that there is lots of different
narrative for all different characters. The video
showed, Jack Sparrow from pirates of the Caribbean,
monsters inc, the Incredible s and Mickey Mouse,
each character is completely different, super heroes,
                                             pirates, monsters and animals.

                                                                    Game play.
The game play is shown a lot through out this review,
It showed jack sparrow collecting various things on his
way to a pirate ship, it showed Sully from Monsters
Inc using a make believe weapon that splats colourful
paint with powers as well as the main guy from the
Incredible s using his strong super powers on top of
                                          buildings.

                                                                     Platform.
The video didn't show which platform the game is on
but i know from the last review that it is available on
                                          PC, PS3, 3DS, XBOX 360, Wii and Wii U.

                                                        Personal Recommendation.
Due to this very well shown review i would be very
tempted to buy this game. I love the amount of game
play as well as the characters involved.

                                                     Comparing the two reviews.

The first review didn't seem as thorough as the video one, the youtube one showed you through the game step by step and explained the narrative a lot better. The fact the review was visual made it more easier to understand as you could visually see what the characters were doing and see ash level. The game play came across much more enjoyable on the second review, where as on the first review it seemed like there wasn't much game play involved.

The target audience seemed different in both reviews, In the first one they made out adults would enjoy it just as much as kids, but when you could actually see the game on video it was clearly aimed at kids and not adults.

LO1: About Pegi

Input devices

A game that develops more than one input device would have more than one use of interaction involved in the gameplay that the gamer can use. For example, if this game was used on the platform Xbox One, the gamer should be able to use Kinect to interact with their voice also, depending on what is involved in the game.
The game Skyrim is capable of using more than one input device, as many different qualities of the game can be used in other ways. For example, using dragon shouts for the Xbox One can be physically done with the Xbox Kinect, by letting the gamer actually "shout" what is required to be done.
